Michael Argiri

Michael Argiri has built his way up into the tourism industry as from his university years. With a BSc in Management, an MBA in Marketing, and a thesis on the “Role of marketing in the tourism industry”, he was ready to undertake the challenges of the tourism industry. After his graduation he undertook various projects as a trainee which brought him, after some years, into joining Conceptours as a minor shareholder. After 15-year experience and hard work, he has now become the major shareholder and Managing Director of Conceptours.

He was also involved in the 2004 Athens Summer Olympics, with the hospitality program, operations and logistics of 3 major sponsors.

His specialization lies in the development, planning, and execution of various MICE products.

Angela Kipling

An innovator in Greek tourism for three decades, Angela has a wealth of experience in The Greek MICE sector. Angela is the founder and Managing Director of a leading Greek DMC Company which is renowned internationally for providing exceptionally high levels of service, with outstanding organisational standards with exceptional local knowledge.

A British citizen, fluent in the Greek language, customs and mentality, Angela's intimate understanding of local business customs, acumen, attitude and idiosyncrasies, as well as the economic context, facilitates the seamless interface between overseas patrons and investors with local authorities, partners and vendors.

George Kiayias

George has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality and travel industry. He has studied Hotel Management and Travel and Tourism Administration in the USA and has held senior management positions across planning, operations, management and consulting roles for some of the major hotel management companies in the USA and Europe.

During the past few years he concentrated in the development of destination marketing and destination management services, in the conception, creation and management of various events, including public and sports events and in the organization of corporate conferences, meetings, incentives and product launches.

A dedicated and creative partner who is proudly leading a top performing team of unique individuals who have deep and varied industry experience and who are able to offer our clients the specialized, distinctive service that makes G7 Synergies a leading advisory company.

He is the proud father of two boys and in his limited time he enjoys kart racing and football.

Alexia Panagiotopoulou

Alexia Panagiotopoulou is a tourism consultant specializing in business tourism and the events industry. Born in Athens, Greece, she holds a law degree from France and a Master in EU law from Belgium. For the past 4 years she held the position of Marketing & Sales Director at the City Athens Convention & Visitors Bureau. Her professional career includes building communication strategies and managing projects for the EU Commission’s DG COMM, Qwentes Kantor Communication Consultancy, EuropaBio in Brussels and the Botsis Foundation for the Advancement of Journalism in Athens, Greece. She is also member of the Greek Association of Journalists (ESHEA). She enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and playing table tennis.

Maria Papadaki

Maria Papadaki was born in Crete and start working at the Tourism Industry when she was 17 years old in 1986. She studied in Heraklion of Crete Tourism Management and continued with a scholarship to the TEU of Berlin in Germany.  For 29 years she continuously works with the same passion at the Hospitality and Events Management field. From 1996 she is living in Athens and has played a key role in various Managerial positions at the biggest and most prestigious Event Management companies of Greece. In 2004 she established her own company EVENT MAKERS DMC and within a short time, the company managed to enjoy high respect by clients and suppliers.  In 2010 the company expand its services in Europe for European and International Events with a new company based in London UK.

Aristides Tsaldaris

Aris Tsaldaris is the President and CEO at Horizon D.M.C. since late 90s. He holds a law degree and a Master in Economics from France. Member of the Board in various organisations both domestically and internationally of the travel and marketing industry, he has been undertaking different consulting projects. A writer, having published poetry and a sportsman, are two of his favourite side characteristics.
